Before coming to RIRAL, John worked for a textile company in Pawtucket, RI for more than 20 years. When the company closed unexpectedly, John found himself unemployed and unable to find another job because he didn’t have a high school diploma. John enrolled at RIRAL to improve his academic skills and obtain a high school credential. Recently John earned his GED and began training for a new position at Goodwill Industries of Rhode Island.
